The goal of this program is to reduce Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) within our 4 county service area.
Donations are accepted all year toward this program. Every $1 raised is matched by a federal grant the health dept. receives. The funds raised and matched by the health department then allows our community team to offer safe sleep education and statistics to parents-to-be or new parents and give each family a pack-n-play bundle.
The education takes approximately 15 minutes or less to complete. Each bundle includes: a pack-n-play (safe place for baby to sleep), safe sleep education material, a children’s book, a pacifier, a sheet with a reminder to place the baby on its back and alone in the crib, and a sleep sack for the baby.
This is a great program and relies on the donations of Community Members.
