The Child Fatality Review Team is dedicated to prevention these type of deaths in the future. The group will implement safety messaging within the community, limit hazards found, etc.
Meeting to keep record
North Central District Health Department meets quarterly with community officials (corner, school officials, mental health workers, KDPH CFR Team, KDPH Suicide Prevention Coordinator, first responders, and more) to review the deaths of children 19 years of age and younger within our 4 county service area. The Child Fatality Review Team is dedicated to prevention these type of deaths in the future. The group will implement safety messaging within the community, limit hazards found, etc.
etc. When there is no child death to review the group comes together to determine where injury prevention is needed in the communities and how the group of community partners can combat risks for injury.
